It is now abundantly clear to me that you cannot survive and flourish at the same time. They are two fundamentally different ways of being, two distinct forms of embodied consciousness, two realms if you prefer. 

You cannot survive and flourish at the same time because when you perceive something as a threat and your nervous system pops into fight, flight, freeze and fawn, your body switches to an entirely different operating system than when you perceive the world as safe and benevolent. 

The biological mechanisms of survival-mode shut off the biological mechanisms of flourishing.
